The Dog Barbarian

In the faraway islands of Agerioth lives hidden clans, ancient kingdoms, charming villages, and fearsome cannibals. In the deep lush jungles there are rare and mysterious creatures and old primal magic long lost. New and foreign to these islands are the conquerors of the Imperion who lay claim to all they see. They employ foreign mercenary (known as dog men to the locals) to subdue the wild new lands and to take back anything of value for the glory of the Imperion! Our story is in the perspective of Ayonis, a wandering ex-soldier who has lost his way and when not getting drunk he finds himself drawn deeper into the jungle. Ayonis meets a host of characters such as Moon who is both a princess and a deadly assassin; There’s also the Thief Tarrant, a mischievous nature spirit who is local to Agerioth’s jungle; And Emmilene, an Imperion Regent who focus’ on leading her people and others in their new home with dignity as opposed to her cousin, Celedrion who greatly favors war. Follow Ayonis’ misadventures as he treks around selling his services for coin and drink. Will Ayonis eventually find honor back with the Imperion, or will he gain new purpose and fulfill his destiny in the greater story of Agerioth. #wip

This represents a lot of research and time with fellow artists to learn and practice what’s needed to be able to visually represent and write my fantasy story.  I am learning on the fly (so sorry it’s not so amazing) and I am grateful that I get to learn with such skilled peers that are enthusiastic about growing together.  Also thank you for looking at my work, my hope is to make something as fun and engaging to read as it is to make.
