Today was Hickman’s heritage fair where we ate a lot of good food from many different cultures!  I set up a booth to showcase some art and show what kind of exciting art lessons I have planned for next year.  It was also the last day of Asian Pacific Islander month so I was pretty happy I got to show some of my drawings depicting Filipino traditional subjects in a modern way.  I got a lot of great reactions from my prospective future students.  There were also cool performers and I am happy I even got to sell some of my children’s books.  Thank you to Hickman teacher, Cherrylynn for all the support and also buying a set of my books!  Thankful to Nina and the awesome parents at the NEST.
