The Social Club is having a pleinair contest and I chose the Des Moines Farmer’s Market as my location for its high energy.  I got started in an overcast morning and painted through the sunny afternoon.  I met a lot of nice people and had lots of fun today.  The finished piece will be on sale in a silent auction at the Social Club’ gallery this Monday.
