It’s been gloomy in SD, but my party consisting of lovely ladies from Louisiana were very lively and energetic; so much so that so many tourists kept coming over wanting to take their pictures. Today we painted with a limited color palette and drew/painted our self portraits in an abstract way.

It was kind of gloomy today and in contrast we got to do our vibrant practice of making a color wheel. We will be painting more and I wanted my young painters to have knowledge of color as we will be referring to it as we progress.
My mommy and me group did great at the park! It was a beautiful sunny day with a nice breeze. My young painters (4-7 years old) painted with their lovely moms at the Mira Mesa community park.
