Painting for myself
I try to make a point to do art for myself so I don’t feel burnt out from only doing art for others or work. I think it’s important as an artist to keep art feeling fun otherwise what’s the point.

Art Studio
I have been getting a lot of students lately and I have been enjoying making art with all of them. Depending on what my students want to learn I adjust my teaching style to hopefully fit with their learning style. more images on this link
In-home private art class
I have been taking in-home clients and going all around San Diego to teach art. I work with student artists with special needs and I get pleasantly surprised by their creativity and skills. I sometimes feel like Hagrid meeting young wizards in the muggle world.
Painting Cherry Blossoms

Art Studio Students
This was us in the studio this week. I am always in wonder of what my students create. We sometimes have a day where we do independent study and for this day we did drawing and clay sculpting.
